Definitely liked the apartment, we felt like home. The location is great, it's a 5 minute walk to Giardini. The area is not touristy, you can see how locals live. However, there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. We are grateful to the owner who let us leave our luggage earlier than the check-in time. Another thing we appreciate is that we were allowed to check out later. It was crucial for us to be able to stay a bit longer as our elderly mother fell ill but our flight was in the evening.

Some visitors of the apartment have complained about an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. I guess it's not a problem of this apartment only but a general drainage system problem. I would change a frying pan as the one we had looked disastrous, it's scratched and I wouldn't recommend using it. The room where the kitchen is doesn't have air-conditioning, so our Mum got cold at night, and we had to keep the door to the bedroom open.
