Dama View Apartment by Taormina Holidays

Tolle Lage....nah zur Altstadt und 2 min zu Fuß zum Busbahnhof. Gute Anreise vom und zum Airport möglich. Sehr sauber in der Wohnung und gute Küchenausstattung. Der Ausblick und die Sonnenaufgänge über dem Meer unschlagbar. Unkomplizierter CheckIn/Out. Danke Mariateresa !

Wir waren zu viert, das war schon etwas eng, aber machbar. Perfekt für 2 Personen.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk into the heart of town. Transport - 1 minute walk to Bus terminal & Cable Car & Taxi services. A spectacular view over the sea. Clean apartment with full amenities. Our communication with Mariateresa was so easy and prompt at all times.🤗

Very easy checkin and out. Host Mariateresa was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The view was just spectacular. The size of the bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen lounge/dining room and the layout of the apartment was perfect. Position was great as well. Easy walking to shops, restaurants and bars. The cable car was almost straight across the road. Great holiday spot. Washing machine, drying space and iron were most welcome.

We stayed at Dama View Apartment in Taormina and would rate it a 6. Unfortunately, while there are a couple of positives, several issues significantly impacted our stay. First, the listing stated the apartment was 538 square feet, but in reality it felt much smaller. The bedroom and living/kitchen area together felt closer to 250–300 square feet total. The bedroom was extremely tight, with only about a foot of space around the bed and no room for bedside tables, which made it feel cramped and uncomfortable. We were four people, and it quickly became clear that the apartment is really only suitable for two. The living area also had problems, particularly the cover for the balcony door, which was broken and torn. This made it difficult to properly close and resulted in a lot of light coming in at night, which disturbed our daughters’ sleep. The bathroom was another issue, as there was an unpleasant smell throughout the stay, which made it uncomfortable to use the space and forced us to keep the door closed at all times. Most concerning, we did not have hot water during our stay. When we raised this with the host, we were told it was not possible because there is a boiler in the bathroom, but despite checking and trying, we were unable to get it to work. On the positive side, the balcony was large and had a beautiful sea view, which was a highlight. Overall, while the location and view have potential, the combination of misleading space description, maintenance issues, lack of hot water, it's really not suitable for more than two guests. It really needs improvements before it can be recommended.
