Amartìa Apartments

Great location and lovely vista from the roof. Parking our car for us down at the outside parking station and driving it back up for us at the end of our stay was a blessing

No dividing door between two bedrooms, paper thin walls so you can hear neighbours at any time and only 3 glasses provided for 4 guests although enough plastic wine glasses and other items. The host was visibly annoyed when we turned up even though we regularly updated for time changes on our 5 hour trip so he didn’t show us around as he had other properties to attend to

Noise from construction next door - 7 days a week, from 6am

Great location, lots of good restaurants close by and just a few minutes to the Greek Theatre and really easy to see all the sights. Luca was a great host, really responsive to messages and let us leave our luggage when we arrived early. Gave lots of recommendations of things to do and restaurants to eat at. Also gave really clear instructions of how to get to the apartment with the least amount of stairs - very welcome in Taormina :-). Apartment had a great sized balcony that you can sit on and enjoy the amazing view of Mount Etna and the coast. Couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re visiting Taormina.

It was a great location right along the main road, but nicely tucked away that you didn't feel on top of the crowds. Very spacious but lots of stairs so would hesitate to bring young children.

We woke up with no power or hot water and didn't receive a response until we had already checked out for the morning. Unfortunately were not able to enjoy our morning in the apartment as we had planned.
