SO Soul Sunset Sea View Villa

Die Managerin und grundsätzlich das Personal war top – super freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und insgesamt wirklich gepflegt. Besonders der Pool war ein Highlight und hat uns sehr gefallen.

Die Kaution von 15.000 Baht fanden wir sehr hoch. Außerdem gab es versteckte Zusatzkosten, da der Strom separat bezahlt werden musste – für 5 Tage waren das bei uns etwa 30 €. Zusätzlich hat mitten in der Nacht mehrfach die Klingel geklingelt, vermutlich wegen Stromausfällen, was ziemlich störend war. Am enttäuschendsten war allerdings der angebliche Meerblick: In unserer Villa B2 stand direkt vor dem Balkon ein weiteres Gebäude, sodass man das Meer nur eingeschränkt und jeweils seitlich am Gebäude vorbei sehen konnte.

Sehr Modern und schick gestaltet.

Uns wurde ein Meeresausblick (Full Set) versprochen. Allerdings hatten wir durch den Baum und die Hecke nur ein viertel Ausblick aufs Meer. Außerdem war die Villa schwer aufzufinden da sie bei Google und Apple Maps nicht richtig eingetragen ist.

The villa is very spacious and has many useful appliances.(washing machine, coffee machine, microwave etc...) Everything was very clean and tidy, and the view is beautiful. Giant pool. We stayed in Villa #52 for 3 nights. There are quite a lot of stairs going down to the villa, but even with that, Margo, the very kind host, helped us carry our luggage. Scooter rental is available but limited – they work with an external rental company that delivers and collects scooters only between 08:00–19:00, so it can be difficult if you arrive late or check out early in the morning like we did. We checked out at 7 am so we needed to return the bike the evening before at 7pm. There was a high deposit of 15,000 Baht, which we didn’t have available because we were at the end of our trip and had already used all our cash. Margo was very understanding and helpful, and she kindly allowed us to stay without paying the deposit. We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness.

The place is amazing, unique and the attention to details is incredible. The welcome of the staff (especially the great Margo), and their attentiveness to make your stay as pleasant as possible was well felt. We especially enjoyed our own little pool which was an amazing extra to the huge terrace, where we spent most of time in the vila.

We expected to get a full sea view, and unfortunately it was partly blocked by a rooftop of another resort’s vila. This is the case for our unit B2. For other units that is not the case, as they are al located higher. The floor in the bedroom was hot due to the machines of the pool, located underneath; it means that you have to sleep with AC all night long;
