Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need to enjoy the space. The hot tub was an added treat and the view spectacular. Incredible linen, crockery, and furnishings that really made the home feel luxurious.

We would have appreciated electric blankets on the main beds and wall heaters in the bedrooms to take off the winter chill - Stanford was freezing this weekend!

Our stay at Stanford Riverside Retreat - Hotub & Pool was nothing short of a dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The house was incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated two families plus Grandma, while still allowing everyone to enjoy their own privacy. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, making it feel more like a luxury home than a holiday rental. The owners' generosity truly sets this place apart. It is one of the best-equipped holiday homes we've ever stayed in. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need, making cooking and entertaining effortless. Even thoughtful extras, like dishwasher tablets and a fully equipped laundry, made such a difference and showed the care that has gone into creating a wonderful guest experience. The closed fireplace was another highlight. It was well stocked with wood and kept the house warm and cosy on the cold winter evenings, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax together after a day out. Everything about this home has been carefully considered, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a place to stay in Stanford, you simply couldn't ask for better. We left with wonderful memories and would return in a heartbeat.

The location is stunning and the house is super well maintained. Stanford is a beautiful little town with great dining options and Hermanus is close by and well worth a day trip.
