Palazzo Valmarana

The location was perfect and the apartment was very roomy. We visited during a heat wave (99*F / 37*C) and the room had a fantastic air conditioning unit - we couldn’t ask for more!

The property is located within a pedestrian-only part of town, which is nice for sightseeing, but made it a little difficult to get our luggage from the car to the apartment. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

It was such an amazing opportunity to stay in a Palladian palazzo! This place has all the historic grandeur of a palazzo with all the comforts of a modern apartment. The pictures are accurate - it's beautifully decorated and spacious, and you look out at the columns and courtyard. In addition, Francesca lives on the property and is extremely helpful (she let us check in early *and* get access to the office laundry since our apartment didn't have a machine), and there's an e-bike rental place across the courtyard as well. It's all right in the heart of Vicenza and you will see tourists stop by to look at the building since it's on the list of must-sees. If you see this place is available, book it! We'll come back if we can.

Everything was great.

It is about 25 minutes walking from the station not 12 minutes. The flat is large and has beautiful furniture. The bathroom needs DIY the bath is peeling off. The bed is very small for 2 people to sleep. The bedroom is very noisy at night as it is in front a restaurant which opens until very late. The door as small for luggage to go in and there are quite few stairs if you have luggage. We stayed 2 nights nobody cleaned our room..
