Quiet out of the way Rural property, great facilities, relaxing environment

Our countryside experience was truly lovely and memorable. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and relaxed atmosphere made it such a refreshing escape from the usual busy routine. We really enjoyed the warmth and hospitality by Cat and her prompt responses. ☺️ It was a wonderful experience filled with beautiful memories, kids loved it and town wasn’t far away and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartwarming countryside getaway.

I loved the location the most because of its rural setting, though my wife did get a bit dizzy on the winding road to get there. The views, however, were amazing. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by two goats across the fence. It is a very peaceful place indeed! My daughter and I also really enjoyed the fire pit, and we were so thankful to the hosts for providing us with free eggs.

Our stay started off perfectly, but we unfortunately experienced a major issue: there was no running water from 8:00 PM until we checked out the next morning because the water tank was empty and the pump was off. While the hosts were very apologetic, provided buckets of water, and even offered their own home for us to shower, we declined for privacy reasons. Unfortunately, the buckets weren't enough to easily flush the toilet or properly wash up, leaving us feeling sticky for the rest of our trip. Additionally, I highly recommend adding a heater to the living room for the winter months. The bedroom was the only warm space, and the bathroom was uncomfortably cold.
