The host was extremely friendly. Although it took me a little while to find the property, the room itself absolutely did not disappoint. The house is right next to the high street, which made it very convenient for meals both in the morning and evening. The clean and lovely en-suite room allowed me to spend a very comfortable birthday night here. Thank you again!

The flat is very central, just behind the High Street and near coffee places, restaurants, shops and bars. The train and bus station are nearby. The flat is nice, clean and big, with a good bedroom, good sitting room and kitchen.
Like others wrote before me, the entrance to the flat is the absolute worst. It is a dark, dirty alley with ripped up (rats, birds?) garbage bags all over the place and dumped furniture and appliances. You do not want to drag your trolley through here. Then you come to a plywood door that is always open and another door with broken glass that is always open. Again, like others wrote, it is like arriving at a drug den (you are shocked the first time and every day you return from your day out). Vague people hang around here smoking. I was travelling alone and it did not feel very comfortable.
The shower is only a weak, lukewarm drizzle. I was shivering every time I had a shower and stopped trying to wash my hair with so little water. On my last night the toilet - that did not flush very well on the other days - suddenly kept flushing with a vengeance. There was no way I could stop it myself because the lid was glued to the pot and the main water tap to the apartment was locked away. I tried to call the owners, but no one picked up. I did not sleep that night from the noise and when I finally contacted the owner in the morning she said I could not stay one minute over check-out time (10am) to get myself sorted and packed after a shitty night because the cleaner and plumber were coming and needed me out. No 'I'm sorry this happened to you' or 'sorry you could not reach us'. All very rude. I think you should be able to reach someone in an emergency.
They have a folder on the table that states all the content in the apartment - two plates, two cups, two spoons etc including every decoration on the walls. Like they expect you to steal even the pictures on the walls and they want you to know that they will report it. I guess that is how they roll, not trusting their guest, but never showing up themselves to check if things are ok, even if their plumbing is failing.
