Leonina Art House

It is such a chic apartment with so many thoughtful touches. We had the use of a kitchen, washer/dryer, private terrace— we felt right at home. Carlene greeted us warmly when we arrived and made sure we knew how to use the washer. She also reserved a taxi for us on our departure. The neighborhood was safe but lively with groceries, coffee, gelato and many restaurants in walking distance. The Cavour metro was so close! We only took a taxi because of our bags.

We loved the location and amenities; being met on site by the property manager was also nice! Everything you think you need plus some extras were available.

Wow! What a gem nestled in the cobbled streets of Monti. There’s an authentic Italian charm about this place. It was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. We are a family of four having visited Rome for the first time, and l was so pleased we chose this beautiful accommodation. We utilized the bag storage just a minute from the accommodation due to arriving in Rome early morning. Our host, Carlene, was extremely welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure our daughter had a memorable 18th birthday, and she truly did! There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby — Benzos was a great choice. There’s also a train station, mini market, and lots of little independent shops just a stone’s throw. Best of all, the Colosseum is just around the corner. We took every opportunity to walk past each evening — in our view, it’s even more magical at night than during the day. One note, if you choose The Big bus tour, it's easier to get on at stop 2 near the Basilica Santa Maria which is a 10ish min walk. The best way to see Rome, was walking and we just about walked everywhere.
