A good base to explore.
Noisy road. Shower/ toilet facilities need daily cleaning. Kitchen towels need a good soak and daily changing. No sharp knife provided.

This is a beautiful campsite with plenty of parking and space. We loved the facilities and free roaming chickens.
The shepherd huts are at the front of the field blocking the beautiful view. They would have been better at the back of the field as they are raised and would make a better sound barrier for the road.

Beautifully laid out site. Very relaxing and clean. The owners were so helpful when we asked for help with finding a shop. We had a lovely stay here, and would 100% come again if we were in the area.

The atmosphere created at thos location is incredibly special. It felt immediately comfortable and the way the tent and trailer was decorated was so creative and beautiful. Beds were both comfortable. I also really loved the extra milk, and oat Milk option and thick towels. We saw a baby hedgehog, and it was so quaint with the free-range chickens. The view was simply spectacular.
Unfortunately, the trailer was dirty and dusty in various places, the kitchen sink was clogged and stained snd the bathoom needs a deep clean or upgrade.. The sheets had been cleaned, but there was dust, which fell all over it. It's not great for me as I'm allergic to dust.
The noise from the road woke us up, as did the rooster. It's. A shame, otherwise, i would be really great place.
