The conservatory had vertical blinds, many of which were broken. Therefore, it made it impossible to eat at the dining table in there. Some curtains had hooks missing and were hanging off the railing. The shower was too small and a child could not have been showered in there with an adult. A dirty towel was lying in the garden along with dead plants in pots. What could have been a lovely bungalow was spoilt by how scruffy it was. I was shocked that booking.com gave it a high rating and considering the price I paid, I feel like I have been completely ripped off. I do not like giving poor ratings, but all in all this bungalow needs a major upgrade.

The location was private and quiet, although at the rear of the property, there was a working train line, about 50 yards behind the garden fence. That we were unaware of, before arrival.

Bird droppings on the conservatory floor and table, large number of the conservatory blinds missing. The weather was very hot, and complete blinds would have helped a little, to keep out a bit more heat. Although, there was an air conditioning unit in the conservatory, but that was fairly ineffective. The rear, front and side gardens, were untidy and unkempt, and needed to be brought up to a higher standard. Rear garden, there was a dirty towel on the floor, plus a small part of a kitchen drawer. There were a couple of electrical issues, when we used the grill, it blew the fuse, and there was a broken electrical socket in the lounge. I contacted the host regarding the grill, we sorted the issue quickly, but we weren’t able to use the grill at all. For a three night, four day stay, there were an insufficient number towels, and only one loo roll. More pots and pans would have been useful. Our dog also came across an animal bone, in the back garden, which he proceeded to try to eat, until we took it off him. He could have choked on that.

Very comfortable and clean house. Really good equipped kitchen.

Everything was perfect

The property was in an ideal location for us, the street was lovely and quiet as was the house even though there is a train track at the back of the property, and the house had everything we needed.

We didn't like the responses from the host as they seemed quite abrupt and not very welcoming. Receiving a message basically asking us to leave the property clean and tidy on our first day seemed a little premature in our opinion

Totally enclosed garden area safe for dog. Very close to lovely empty sandy beaches. The house was fitted out very comfortably.

It needed a toilet seat that fitted.

Very spacious, clean and great location on a quiet road. The bed was really comfy

Bungalow was spacious and clean comfy sofa chair. Comfy bed and nice garden with outdoor bench to sit outside. Nice conservatory with table chairs. Nice big kitchen and lovely quiet road.

Nothing All good

The bungalow was excellent in every way. For elderly parents there were plenty of grab rails and a seat in the shower if needed. We would have no problem recommending this property. The property has the advantage of having the sun all day in the garden with the added bonus of trains passing for the enthusiast.

My Pa would have liked a trowel to do a bit of weeding!

The property is cosy, clean friendly and comfortable Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well set up, the conservatory was a sun trap and lovely to eat breakfast in.

I could have done with a few instructions how things work, which is a minor point. Dishwasher would have been icing on the cake.

The property was clean, well decorated and equipped with everything we could possibly need.

There were a few things that may benefit from updating/modernising such as the flooring not being quite flat in some areas.

Schöne, gemütliche Unterkunft mit allem, was für den Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Gute Lage um die Gegend zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig, sehr sauber. Einkaufs- und Tankmöglichkeiten sind gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und können die Unterkunft unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Die Wohnung ist soweit ruhig, lediglich die vorbeifahrenden Züge sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Glücklicherweise liegen die Schlafzimmer auf der Vorderseite des Hauses, so dass man nachts nichts von den Zügen hört.
