Swift Host - 2 Bedrooms - Norwich Lanes Duplex - Central - Great Location - Parking

The apartment was large and well located to the city centre- a short walk away from everything. Well furnished with comfortable beds, lots of wardrobe space, games, good kitchen facilities -even some basic ingredients which are useful so you don't have to buy them!

The location meant that the apartment was very noisy. There's a bar directly opposite where people sit outside and are very noisy. The coffee shop sets up early in the morning and it sounds like he throws the metal furniture onto the pavement! The single glazed sash windows did nothing to dampen the sound. I appreciate they are period features but secondary glazing would work a treat! The bathroom was tight..... The staff from the chipshop underneath stand in the alleyway to the property when on their smoking breaks. I feel the parking facility advertised on the listing is inaccurate as there isn't any parking with the property- it is readily available at a cost in the city car parks. The place could do with a deep clean , under the beds were filthy...and last but not least....there weren't any wine glasses!

The place is quirky, with an interesting vibe. The location itself is very central, and you can walk to many places. The kitchen is decently equipped (although missing things like wine glasses or a scale).

It was so incredibly noisy we have not had a decent night of sleep. You can actually follow the conversations of the people smoking outside the Drawing Rooms until midnight. Then a few people will randomly shout throughout the night (especially at the weekend), and then glass bin collection and deliveries start from 6am. The windows are pretty, but do nothing in terms of noise reduction. The place was also quite dirty. The parking advertised was actually not guaranteed, and just a shared spot down the road.
