The Senju Homestay is within close walking distance to everything you need. There is a water filter for fresh drinking water, plenty of a/c to keep cool, umbrellas, basic cooking facilities and almost everything else you need. There are some great coffee shops around and for any other aussies travelling try Kwason Boulangerie for their extra strong Kwason latte and delicious pastries. The host is incredibly friendly and was available for suggestions and advice and was very welcoming.

There is a prayer hall close by so you may be woken up on the first night or two but you quickly get used to it. It would have been great to have some tea towels in the kitchen to dry up dishes too. There really wasn’t much to not like about Senju.

The location of this property is perfect - walking distance to everything and in the most quaint lane with a wine bar across the way and a coffee shop 2 doors down! The house is much much bigger than the pictures show, very comfortably accommodating 15 people with plenty of space and all amenities thought of. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If travelling with a large group, this is the best pick!

Futon/sofa beds could have done with sheets and a blanket that fit an adult.

The home stay is very clean, i love the cozy feeling as well as my family. The thoughtfullness of the owner is more than our expectation. We will come again if we travel to Penang again.

The downstair washroom a bit small, the cloth at the hanger easily get wet/splash of water during shower time
