Premiumzimmer gebucht mit direktem Blick auf den Canal du midi vom Bett und sogar von der Toilette und Dusche aus. Strassen und Bahngeräusche (5min.entfernt Bahnhof) bei offenem Fenster, geschlossen nichts zu hören. Fussläufig 10 Minuten jede Menge Restaurants in der Innenstadt an wunderschönen Plätzen, zur mittelalterlichen Cité ca. 25 Minten Fussweg bis Eingang Porte Narbonne über die Pont vieux. Einrichtung herrlich antik, die alten Dielen knarzen bei jedem Schritt. Trotzdem jeglicher Comfort mit Kaffeezubereitung, Ventilator, gut gefüllter Gemeinschaftskühlschrank mit Getränken und Selbstbedienungsstrichliste. Zugang über Haustürcode klappt prima. Wir konnten sogar unsere ebikes mit Fahrradträger sicher im Hausflur abstellen. Parken direkt vor der Haustür, wenn denn was frei ist (öffentlich kostenlos ohne Reservierungsmöglichkeit). Frühstück mit hausgemachtem Kompott, Früchten, Kuchen, Eierspeisen mit Lachs oder Avocado/Tomaten, super lecker. Je nach Wetter im idyllischen Innenhof serviert. Sehr nette Gastgeber, sie Britin, er Franzose, Konversation in beiden Sprachen problemlos. Fazit: tolle Unterkunft, besonderes Erlebnis, rundum zufrieden, 100% Weiterempfehlung.
