The quality of the accommodation and location in the heart of St Ives were fantastic. All facilities provided were top notch and all of our needs were met. The decor was fab and everything provided was to a very high standard. The owner was friendly and helpful and we opted to stay an extra night as we fell in love with the place.
We were expecting some noise due to the location above a shop in the main shopping street and near a couple of pubs. This was acceptable but there was another noise within the building that occurred every 10mins or so (including through the night). This was annoying and made sleep more difficult. Unable to pin point the source but the noise involved some banging followed by a scraping noise. Something mechanical in and around the properly. Possibly upstairs. Some sort of fan or motor or something. The ear plugs provided helped reduce some of this banging/scraping noise.
