IRIS Kandy

Helpful and welcoming staff, and a very comfortable bed. The room was available even before the official check-in time, which was very convenient for us, and we were also able to leave our belongings there. The location can be a little difficult to access, as some PickMe drivers refuse to come all the way up. The room is comfortable and has everything necessary, although the décor is very simple and quite minimal, making it feel a little empty at times. The bathroom, however, was absolutely amazing. The best breakfast we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka! An incredible chef — definitely someone to keep!

The air conditioning wasn’t quite powerful enough, and the view was unfortunately very limited from the first-floor room.

This recently new hotel is tucked away high in the hills looking over Kandy. Our welcome from all staff was warm and welcoming. The room was large with bathroom and amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Room also came with a mini bar. Restaurant on roof top boasts wonderful views and sunset was wonderful. The food was excellent, a big thank to chef. The hotel has a paid Tuk Tuk an added bonus. I enjoyed my overnight stay and would recommend this hotel. Loved the quiet.

Lovely staff, views and great breakfast.

We got lost looking for the property at night. Had to reverse down a dangerous slope and needed guidance to get to the property. We list about an hour to this at nearly midnight.

All well prepared and presented.

In general room is nice but you must consider the curtains to be changed as the Colour combination is good but with the white sun light fall directly to the bed areas. Bathroom water collection has to be checked.
