The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Also the communication with the host was very good and accommodated us when we asked for an earlier check in if possible.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Athens. The location is ideal, set in a pleasant neighbourhood that feels local rather than overly touristy. It's walkable (20 minutes or less) to many key attractions, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, as well as great coffee and breakfast spots, right nearby. Supermarkets are also easy to reach nearby. The area has a nice atmosphere and plenty of life in the evenings, and feels safe, but remains quiet enough to ensure a good night’s sleep.
The apartment itself is well equipped with all the essentials. A Nespresso coffee machine is useful, as someone who needs coffee in the morning but doesn't want the faff. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was helpful to have information provided on nearby attractions. Check-in was seamless thanks to the lockbox system, which made late arrival easy, and communication with the host was straightforward throughout. Value was also great.
Some people may prefer the "personal touch" of speaking with a person to check in, but for us, particularly arriving at 1am or so, the directness of communication via text and collection via lockbox was best. There's no clothes washing machine, but then the description didn't state that there would be, so we weren't expecting one -- it's just something to keep in mind if you're going to stay for longer.
The only real, minor downside is that the hot water relies on solar heating, so if you are showering early in the morning, there may not be enough hot water for two people to shower back-to-back, particularly if one person has long hair that requires time and attention to deal with. But overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay again.

The location was perfect for , walking around historical sights, 11 minutes walk to the Acropalic.
The place was in a fantastic Central location, nothing to complain about.
