Brynteg cottage near seaside resort of New Quay

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the garden has beautiful views and was perfectly safe for our Dog. He absolutely loved it. The bath is a fabulous size, perfect for a good relax. Lovely, peaceful location.

I have terrible arachnophobia, and the house had a lot of cellar spiders and cobwebs. We also made the mistake of leaving the windows open and became over run with gnats and daddy longlegs. Was not great for me, especially since the weather was really warm and the property has no fans so we needed the windows open.

We liked the location in Naternis village - set in a river valley not far from New Quay. Lovely cottage, very well appointed, comfortable and clean with good quality fittings and lots of kitchen equipment. We enjoyed having the garden to sit in with views across the valley. Very quiet. Easy to get to New Quay for the facilities there. We walked down the river from near the cottage to the coast which was exceptionally lovely. The parking is okay, access not that easy but we didn't find it a problem and offset by everything else about this lovely place.
