Great week away in a lovely house and town.

Fabulous house with absolutely everything that you need, very clean, very comfortable. We stayed in March and it was lovely and warm. Location is perfect to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. New Quay is a great little town, we will definitely come back.

Relaxing, comfortable, warm and cosy just what we needed for time out from work

It was very spacious, very clean, very cosy and the beds were so comfortable. The owner was really friendly and made you feel really welcome. The location is fabulous and the property had everything you needed. Highly recommend

Really great house. Well kitted out, very comfy beds. Just felt very much at home there and it's in such a great location, literally under 5 minutes from the the beach, cafes and bars etc.

Excellent short break to recharge the batteries

The cottage was very comfortable with everything you need for a self catering break. It is in a beautiful place 10 minute walk to the harbour with several good restaurants to choose from. We had beautiful weather so we’re very lucky. We would definitely recommend it.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts in providing so many useful items in the house . Parking was at end of garden. Very comfortable beds . Blankets downstairs for extra ‘snuggles ness’ 😊. We even had fresh flowers put in the dining room

Lovely stay in New Quay

The house was great, had everything we needed. The owner had left us some welsh cakes, eggs and milk, very nice touch. Kitchen fully equipped. The house was nice and warm. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the living room on the one day when it was raining. Comfy sofas and a fireplace. New Quay was a lovely little village, lovely bay and beach. The house was very conveniently located to walk down to the village where you have little shops and restaurants. People are very welcoming. We went on a dolphin spotting boat tour. We were lucky to see dolphins, such a nice experience! Would definitely consider coming back to this house if we would visit New Quay again. Many thanks for a lovely long weekend at Awelfryn.

One feedback would be to have the access way by the memorial hall more clearly explained as we had to drive around one more time before we found out. Maybe explain that the memorial building is a big light blue building and the access way is right before it, instead of saying that it's by the memorial hall as you look for the building and might miss the access way by the time you find the building.
