If you believe the place you stay should be a part of your travel experience, you should visit Palermo just to stay here! We've traveled around the world, and this ranks on our top 10 most memorable places to stay list. Yes, the location is excellent, the host is super nice and communicative, and the place is very comfortable with everything you might need and plenty of space. But how many places that you've stayed come with actual frescos painted on the living room and kitchen ceilings (in addition to a range of other fun historical parts of the apartment and the building). There are at least 2 units by the same owner – I looked and the pictures of the other one look nice as well, so it's also perfect for a larger group. But I would stay here even if you are just 2 people – it's that amazing. I'm not a social media type, but I did send pictures to friends with the caption, "This isn't a museum. It's the living room at our airbnb!" If you want to experience an Italian villa without leaving your living room, stay here!

L'appartamento è molto bello, grande, elegante, curato nei particolari...con il fascino delle dimore storiche. Dotato di tutto il necessario, host molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha permesso un check out pomeridiano che ci è stato di grande aiuto, considerato che avevamo l'aereo in serata. Lo consiglio vivamente. Dovessi ritornare a Palermo, sicuramente tornerei al Tesoretto!
