A dishwasher would be a really nice convenient touch as we were eating/making most meals in, but not a big deal at all, we loved it, no real negatives!

Great location very central, cosy feel, decent value for money

Lack of Dishwasher Foodstuffs kept in cupboard and on worktops which looked to be from previous tenants Front door very sticky requires attention also patio door very difficult to lock

Caras Cottage was absolutely wonderful – spotlessly clean, cosy, and had everything you could possibly need. The hosts were perfect – welcoming and helpful – and the location couldn’t be better, practically in the centre of Blairgowrie. It’s an amazing base for exploring, whether as a couple or with family. We couldn’t have asked for more and would love to return.

Fair but not great with little ones.

Liked the location, lovely quiet street. Well decorated and equipped house with comfortable beds.

There was some minor cleanliness issues, human hair on the scourer, dead fly in the cutlery drawer. The water pipes made a lot of noise if more than one tap was on at a time. For us specifically with a 6 and a three year old lots of sharp corners, our six year old fell out of bed and scratched her face on the bedside cabinet. No curtain on the shower window, the window is frosted but you can see a clear outline of you from the carparking area. Really creeky floors and stairs.

A great weekend getaway in a lovely cottage.

Spacious, bright and with everything needed for our weekend stay. The scones and raspberry jam which were left for our arrival was such a lovely bonus. Good location for walking into town and also plenty of great areas for walking our dog. Wish we had booked for longer.
