Would return, very comfortable

Very comfortable stay. Each bedroom is lockable, we each had our own room keys so guest belongings were always safe. Downstairs had 2 rooms and a bathroom/toilet/shower and a communal seating area. Upstairs two bedrooms, a bathroom/toilet/shower and the communal seating, dining table up there, all open and light. Communal areas well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking and lots of available pantry staples such as cooking oil and spices were available. Had a lovely little herb garden out the front

Worst stay experience ever in life

Lily tried her level best to resolve issues faced but she was not being fair and her decisions was so unfair

Overall we had made the worst decision to choose to stay at this property for our auckland holiday , this shared facility property is so uncomfortable, theres a long term tenant downstairs a white girl who always bothers other peoples stays and monitors every small movements a guest does and reports to lily , she also makes up alot of unwanted stories and creates drama, we cant even have food at peace at this property, she makes accusations without evidence , at one of the nights our entire family had dinner outings and we didnt even set foot in the kitchen this white girl goes and tells lily that we had used the kitchen and left all our rubbish and never cleaned up after cooking, that was so sick of her as when lily confronted us we showed the photos and evidences of our dinner outings and how could she believe someone and blame our us without evidences , the owner lily doesnt have that positive trust and she believes whatever information is passed to her without her investigation, to add on top of that someone claimed that there were extra people staying with us in the room and we also received an extra payment request on our booking that too was just accusations and not true it was the same white girl downstairs and then once again we had to fight for the truth and make lily believe that it wasn’t true?now you tell me did we come on a vacation to enjoy and have family time or to explain things to others that we don’t even do , it was so sad and disappointing i would never recommend someone to book this place for their holiday .

Good location, too many rules, not very welcoming.

Room was ok, tidy and had a desk which I needed for work

It appeared that the facilities are shared with family - I felt that I was being intrusive. The walls are thin and I could hear everything going on in the family room. When I came out of my room I was stared at and made to feel very uncomfortable. IT felt like I was not welcome and the rest of the people/family members in teh house were not happy that I was there. I travel to Auckland often, I will not be coming back.

This is my 2nd visit to New Zealand I wish I could have stay a bit longer.

The location is okay , a bit out of the centre of the city but for the price I have no complaint. The host Lily whom I met on the first day when I arrived a bit too early is lovely and John whom I met on the last day of the stay is very friendly. They are a nice couple that you would love to deal with.

I am not a long term stayer so for me the price and facility are more than adequate and it's such a nice location, not like Ponsonby which is where I should stay but after stayed at the Three Kings and getting to know the local I would urge the intrepid travelers to stay further away from the city and get to know the local people, the Kiwi are such lovely people regardless of the origin. Kiwi are my favourite people on earth.
