I recently stayed at Mr. Wayne's property and I can't recommend it enough! While the exterior may look a bit dated, don't let that deter you. The interior is absolutely immaculate, showcasing Mr. Wayne's dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. The location is unbeatable—just a block away from the beautiful beach, and close to fantastic restaurants and shopping. It’s the perfect spot for families looking to explore Alki Beach. My family and I had a wonderful time, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

This was a charming home steps away from Alki beach! The host was very accommodating and even made sure we had everything we needed everyday! They gave us local food recommendations and clear and concise directions on how to utilize certain things in the house!!! Our family has the best time and we can’t wait to go back.

The house was very homey. Its in the perfect location if you plan to stay within the Seattle area. Parking was a little bit of tight squeeze but thankfully its right on the corner. We drove a F150 crewcab and was able to fit with hardly any room between vehicles. All the beds are comfortable, even the pull out soaf beds. This is a perfect location if you plan to visit the beach a lot too. The only negative was the cookware was a lil bit 'overused' however, i just bought a skillet and spatula and it got us through. The host was excellent with communication and friendly.

We had a great time at the home on Alki Beach. This is a wonderful place to stay with plenty of room. Just one block off the beach and restaurants makes it very convenient to grab a bite to eat or go for a walk. The home is very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. Wayne is a great host and did a great job of getting us the information we required to have a nice stay. He also had great recommendations for restaurants near the Alki Beach. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The house is in the perfect spot.1 block from the beach, restaurants & all the action Alki Beach has to offer. It’s such a lively neighbourhood. We rented e-scooters to get to water taxi to Downtown which was very fun & recommended. House was bigger than we thought, very clean & quiet. Our family had a great time & cannot wait to return.

I enjoyed the wonderful location a block from Alki beach, restaurants, shops and incredible sunsets. The property was accurately listed, and every creature comfort was provided. Lovely lighted patio was a favorite at night. I had a great visit with my teenage grandson and he was a definite fan of the close proximity to the beach and boardwalk. I would stay here again and recommend to others without hesitation.

Fun location on a corner, across the street from the log cabin museum - 1 block from the beach. Lots of traffic and parking going on, along with people walking by all hours. Very interesting to watch. House is roomy with a nice feel to it, nothing fancy. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a nice outside area for sitting/barbecuing. The 2 bathrooms are clean. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the basement king bedroom.

Our stay in West Seattle was comfortable and cozy. The home afforded us the ability to be near enough to our family without infringing upon their need for time and space apart. The kitchen had a well stocked cabinet with pots, pans, plates and spices. The beds were comfy with linens and towels provided. We would consider this again for future stays. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly to all texts. Street parking was available each time we returned from Seattle. The Alki Beach was readily accessible with quaint boutique shops and cafés.

Great stay! We loved being able to walk to the beach in July. Roomy and comfortable. The downstairs was a nice reprieve. The king bed was very comfortable. The back yard was functional, but maybe could use some updating. However, this does not take away from a five star review.

This was my first visit to Seattle and I was traveling with my 18 year old son and his friend. We decided on a house vs a hotel room for lots of reasons but I was nervous doing so. I was also a little hesitant staying outside the city. Well, this house and location won us over immediately! You are literally 1 block from the ocean. The views are breathtaking. The house was perfect. I stuck the teenagers downstairs and I enjoyed the upper part of the house. The restaurants that are within walking distance are delicious. If you have questions about the city, Wayne is extremely helpful but not overbearing in any way. My only cons had to do with transportation into Seattle. We didn't rent a car. It got expensive. There is a water taxi that is affordable if you pay attention to the schedule. This had nothing to do with the property and I would still absolutely stay here again! I just can't say enough about how beautiful the location is.

I stayed at Alki Beach House with my husband, our 3 kids and daughter-in-law. The setup was perfect for two couples and 2 single young adults. My husband and I enjoyed the welcome retreat of the basement bedroom. The location was amazing and we spent many hours along Alki Beach. We were visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and two toddler nephews. The back patio was great for dinners with such a large party. The lilac and wisteria were in bloom and the flowers and fragrance were heavenly! The boys enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard. The house itself isn't exactly 'kid-proofed' (and we didn't expect it to be) and the multiple levels may be challenging for some but there was still a pack and play for us to use for afternoon naps and we really appreciated it! Wayne was very welcoming and greeted us at check-in and went through the features of the house which was very helpful. I would highly recommend this home for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.
