We stayed at the Sea Cabin vacation rentals on Isle of Palms, SC during the week of July 4th, 2025, and the experience was absolutely stellar. We were coming down from North Carolina for a concert in the Charleston/IOP area and initially explored local hotels and well-known rental sites. That’s when we stumbled upon the Sea Cabin properties through Vacasa—and we're so glad we did!
Our particular rental was exactly as described: just steps (about 50 ft) from the beach, with a true oceanfront view from the back deck. The “backyard” is literally the beach! We had access to a private pool (gated, with code access) exclusively for Sea Cabin guests, and a parking pass was included with the rental.
The highlight? We had a front-row seat for the July 4th fireworks show—launched right off the dock behind the Sea Cabins. Absolutely unforgettable.
Inside, the unit was clean and modern, with high-quality appliances. Several restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance (less than 0.2 miles), though we’d recommend driving due to a busy road nearby.
This place checked every box—and then some. We would 100% stay here again, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting IOP!
