Whether you seek relaxation on the lake or adventure in the stunning Leelanau County or Grand Traverse region, this cottage offers the best of both worlds.

Step outside to enjoy over 400 feet of private lakefront, a sandy beach, a marina with individual boat slip, and plenty of space for water activities like kayaking, jet skiing, or swimming. Spend your days lounging by the water, building sandcastles, or playing lawn games. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and make memories around one of three shared fire pits with breathtaking sunset views.
In addition to the private beach and marina, West Wind Resort offers a playground, basketball court, and expansive green space. The shallow shoreline is ideal for young children, and beach toys and lawn games are provided for added fun.
Please note: you must cross the private driveway to get to the lake and beach area.

Everything was great, the best were comfortable, there were a variety of pillows to choose from, and whatever is used as a parameter spray is very effective to deter bugs. The vacuum was left out which was a plus and they left a new sponge for dishes. The fireplace was cozy and welcomed with the chilly nights. It was a little difficult to find in the dark the first time and being off season, but had we not dilldallied around we would have gotten there in daylight it would have been fine. It’s the perfect distance between suttons bay and down town TC. Overall, wonderful!

The property was beautiful, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy, too! The fireplace was cozy and the lighting was soft and soothing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home! Clean and nicely stocked with cooking essentials. The setting was gorgeous and located nicely near the wineries and brewery. Would love to return again in the future.

The house is located on a perfectly angled lot where the views of Lake Leelanau are clear. Trees surrounding the property are beautiful. The day travel location is great to visit surrounding areas in every direction. The cottage itself is spacious and felt like your own. The beds were comfortable too. The kitchen was well organized and stocked. The porch was our favorite morning area to enjoy the views with our cups of coffee.
