About this cabin rental
Just off the TART trail, close to parks, wineries & beaches, the perfect spot to vacation! Just minutes from Traverse City & wineries, this open-concept home w/ forest views, soaring ceilings, & two stone fireplaces is perfect for making family memories. Spacious front porch & rear deck provide spaces to relax & unwind - including a hot tub & outdoor fire pit. 2 large master suites: one w/private balcony & jacuzzi & one w/ceiling mirror. Entire property is yours to enjoy! 45 min. to ski Crystal
Smart lock door code will be provided prior to your arrival, allowing you to check in at your convenience. Guests will typically check in and spend the duration of their stay without seeing us. We are available 24/7 by text or phone should you have any needs or requests.
2 acre heavily wooded lot. When the leaves are in, you won't be able to see any neighbors. In the winter, you can vaguely see neighbors. Hot tub is completely secluded in back yard.
You will have the whole house to yourself.
This house is perfect for bigger families, while providing some unique privacy for parent's and couples. The lower level unit is roughly 1000 sq. feet and is newly renovated with heated floor in the master bed and bath, extra sound proofing in the ceiling and solid core doors, and a ceiling mirror fixed above the king canopy bed. There is a separate entrance to the lower level.
The upper level is 1700 sq feet with 3 beds and 2 baths. Another master bed and jacuzzi bath with towering cathedral ceilings. Both levels offer living rooms and kitchen areas.
Main Level: Queen Bedroom, 2 Twins Bedroom, Full Bathroom
Upstairs: King Bedroom, Full Bathroom
Lower Level: King Bedroom, Full Bathroom
Reverse Osmosis Filter provides you with pure drinking water both at the kitchen sink on the first floor and in the lower level.
The highlight of the house is the backyard - Hot Springs hot tub, fire pit, grill, and gorgeous, private rock backdrop.
In the winter, please drive an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle if possible. Our home is up a hill and into the woods - a gorgeous view.
We partner with Shady Lane Cellars to provide you with "buy one, get one free" wine tasting and with Suttons Bay Bikes to give you 10% off e-bikes, bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and tours. Many guests enjoy riding the Tart Trail to Shady Lane Cellars for wine tasting!
We’ve partnered with Stocked, a local grocery delivery service, to make your arrival effortless. Your delivery fee is covered — simply order ahead, and walk into a home with your groceries already waiting.
The house is professionally cleaned between each guest. And you have access to the washer and dryer during your stay.
Uber is available in the area.
We do allow pets. We ask guests to pay an additional $50 per pet. Here are some pet rules we ask you to abide by:
– Housebroken pets only
– Please crate your pet if you leave your pet home alone.
– Please clean up in the yard after your pet.
– Please keep pets off of furniture, beds , and carpeted bedrooms.
- Please wipe their paws off before coming into the house.
We have a fenced in backyard.
CANCELLATION POLICY (If using VRBO to book, please look carefully at this as it is not accurately represented by VRBO in the booking window.) Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid (minus the 10% processing fee). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50% (minus the 10% processing fee). Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

This was by far one of our best VRBO experiences. Kelsey and Joe were incredibly responsive and even checked in a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was peaceful, quiet, and wonderfully private. It was also impressively well-stocked—from paper towels and toilet paper to ziplocks, garbage bags, and firewood.Despite the holiday, the driveway was plowed early on Thanksgiving morning, which we really appreciated. We stayed cozy throughout the winter weather thanks to the fireplace and hot tub. Our dogs were warmly welcomed, and the complimentary delivery through Stocked-Up meant our groceries were waiting for us when we arrived.I highly recommend booking with Kelsey and Joe—we can’t wait to come back!

The house was beautiful, and had everything we needed. Our group of 6 had plenty of room and were very comfortable. Location was central to all the TC spots we hit. Hosts were helpful and very responsive. Thank you Kelsey and Joe!

This was the best stay we’ve had. We didn’t have to worry about anything and were able to have a stress free getaway. Partnering with a local vineyard for bogo wine tasting was a nice touch!
