About this house rental
A white-stone Quercy cottage located in the countryside, near the beautiful village of Roquecor, built on a rock at an elevation of 220 m. The region is characterized by numerous hills, rolling fields, and limestone plateaus.
The stone cottage features a private terrace with patio furniture and lounge chairs, as well as a large lawn; a living room (sofa bed + TV); a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, coffee maker) opening onto the large terrace; a bathroom with a shower (washing machine), a separate toilet, and 2 bedrooms (one with a 140-cm bed and the other with two 90-cm beds, plus a play area and children’s books) + 1 folding guest bed.
The cottage is located in Saint Beauzeil in the northwest of Tarn-et-Garonne, just a stone’s throw from the Lot Valley, the Dordogne, the Gers, and Lot-et-Garonne (between Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine).
You can go swimming at the Montaigu-de-Quercy recreational center, 7 km away.
You’ll find numerous markets (Montaigu-de-Quercy, Roquecor, Tournon-d’Agenais…), as well as cultural highlights for history buffs: a visit to Moissac Abbey, the 13th-century Bonaguil Castle, and the medieval villages of Lauzerte and Penne d’Agenais (water play areas and a basilica overlooking the Lot Valley).
Just 25 minutes from Agen (canal bridge, Walibi Park, tree-top adventure course…), Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and Fumel (river cruise), and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bordeaux or Toulouse.
You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, as well as various nearby walks and sightseeing opportunities, not to mention the local cuisine (foie gras, prunes, Chasselas grapes, melons...).
