Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. De rust en privacy die het ons toeliet om ons volledig te deconnecteren om zo de batterijen terug op te kunnen laden. Prachtige setting met eindeloze rust. Ondanks dat de grote winkels of shopping malls ver uit de buurt lagen, was de locatie perfect. Als vertrekpunt om iets te bezoeken, ideaal gelegen. Grote kans dat je prachtige roofvogels spot alsook herten, die erg dicht bijkomen. Het nabije dorp is erg gemoedelijk en heeft een kleine bakkerij en supermarkt.

Geen sterke wifiverbinding waardoor het signaal verbrak, eenmaal je buiten het huisje was. NOOT: Als je volledige rust wil, heb je dit uiteraard niet nodig maar wel handig als je voetbalfan bent en een WK match wil streamen op uw tablet.

The farmhouse has been modernised to a high standard and the kitchen was equipped well. The hot water was very hot and had good pressure so the showers worked well. The outside seating / dining area was very good and was shaded by a lovely oak tree and a parasol. The house is tucked away and surrounded by farmland and woodland so is a lovely place to be for a peaceful stay. The swimming pool was much appreciated especially when the temperature reached the mid 30's. We found plenty of places to visit, good local restaurants and buying fresh bread form the bakers in Bourg de Visa daily is a must and gave us an excuse to pop into the Cafe for a morning coffee as well.

On the whole the facilities were very good but we felt that an easy chair or sofa in the living room would be a bonus. There is soft seating / fold out bed on the mezzanine but access for my wife was difficult due to the tight winding staircase. Also in the master bedroom there was no door on the toilet which we found a bit odd but okay if that is what your used to.

Beautifully restored with original features. Excellent location for us as we like rural quiet settings. Great swimming pool, shallow enough at one end for the children. Owners live next door but not intrusive. Pool cleaned regularly. All facilities you need 4 bedrooms, 2 showers, 2 toilets. Washing machine. In the kitchen there is coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob.

Place is really nice in nature. Very clean house. Nice pool. The house is cool inside when it is hot outside, which is nice.

There was no any soap simply to wash hands No tablettes for dishwasher (so bare in mind to bring yours) Apparently the towels are to rent, we did not see this info, so take yours or ask to rent.
