Excellent value for money. The accommodation is located above their house. They are very kind and accommodating. They even looked after our luggage during the day. No air conditioning, but they have fans, so it's perfectly fine. A little light in the room, but a scarf over your face is perfectly fine. There's a rooster nearby, but it stops crowing. Very clean! Highly recommended!

I had a good stay at Kulassa Homestay in Anuradhapura. The hosts, though new to the business, are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure guests have a comfortable experience. The room was spacious, featuring two double beds, and the bathroom was impressively large and spotless. The common area is also a great addition, with a big table available for guests to use. I really appreciated the extra effort from the hosts in arranging a bicycle for me, even though they don’t offer rentals themselves.

One thing to keep in mind is that the homestay is located a bit outside the city, so you’ll need a tuk-tuk or scooter to get around. Additionally, as the guest area is separated from the hosts’ living space by a temporary wall, you may hear some noise from their daily activities.
