Old, small and clean apartment with tons of rules and tiny kitchen. Apartment had everything for the stay but is overprised (probably like whole Cala Gonone). We stayed 3 nights and it was enough. We definitely will NOT return. Be prepared for an 1 hour explanation of rules and places to visit when you arrive, no matter if you are tired or hungry, host won't leave you until explains everything... that was the most insane check-in i ever had! The time of check in is from 6 pm till 8 pm and check out strictly at 10 am. When i asked for ~1 hour delay for check out, host asked me to move at 10 am so the cleaning lady can start preparing the apartment for the family that wants early check in... So either it was a lie or the host just wanted to throw us out ASAP. Andrea, either make same rules for everyone or at least make another trustable story, as allowing another family to check in early and kicking my ass strictly at 10 am, will spoil the whole vacation in Cala Gonone! And we are a couple, only 2 persons that even haven't used another (children) room that you decided to close, because we are couple but paid as a family of 4. VERY UNFAIR!!!

Air conditioning was only in bed room, the liquid from it was accumulated outside into the plastic canister and on a daily basis guests should emty it down, so air conditioning could funcion properly. Meanwhile the kitchen with dining room only had a fan. Due to wind some staff could be blown away from the terrase, so be cautious. Throwing out the trash has it is own schedule that host also will ask you to follow, depending on the day you can either throw organic or plastic etc. (makes sense when you live there, but for vacation it is bit challenging). The house is located in the middle of the hill, so if you go for groceries then you need to climb back 3 streets up to the apartment, under the heat. Same for restaurants. All recommendations that were provided by host were okayish, sincerely saying google or claude can provide same or better places / experiences, i was missing more local hints.

The perfect stay in Cala Gonone. The apartment had everything we needed, it was clean, fully equipped, comfortable beds, amazing shower, a lovely terrace - we can’t say anything bad because it was all wonderful. It was close to the port, restaurants, the beaches and supermarkets. Andrea was fabulous - her wealth of knowledge about the area, the detailed information pack, and the extra help and advice she gave us. Highly recommend both the apartment and Andrea and a host.
