Arthur River Bush Retreat

Really good location and unpretentious dwelling

The location was perfect. We came to scatter my mother's ashes off The Edge of the World as per her request. Beds were very comfortable.

A very welcoming place to stay, the bed was super comfortable! Clean and tidy with all amenities you would need to feel right at home and the view was phenomenal!

The window in the bedroom wouldn’t allow us to wind it back in causing the blind to rattle throughout the night but not a major issue

Very tired and unkempt outside with worn out rusty and useless BBQ and open shed with broken rubbish and mess. The wood heater inside was rusted and filthy as was the wood box full of wood scraps snd paper and no doubt the source of numerous scorpions we killed in the kitchen and the main living area. Out of date food stuffs in fridge and pantry and cutlery draw needed a good clean. Didn’t appreciate locked rooms that meant our booking requesting two bedrooms hadn’t registered. Felt as tho visitors weren’t to be trusted. A phone call made to owner and a code supplied so we could open door. Musty and closed up on arrival. Opened doors to let in some fresh air. Furniture looked like op shop bargains.
