Eileen’s home in Killarney was our favorite during our family vacation.
The location was perfect! We parked our rental car and walked into town for shopping and dining. Our family of 6 (including grandparents) was very comfortable during the few days we were there. The home was well appointed (there were even adapters for the outlets!) and we were able to cook and do our laundry. The WiFi was great and the kids enjoyed the TV.
Eileen was a wonderful host. Our kids especially loved the milk and treats on arrival. Communication was easy and fast. Any questions, and Eileen responded quickly. As a host, Eileen went above and beyond. When we arrived, Ireland was in the midst of a protest for high gas prices. Farmers were blocking highways and roads. Petrol stations all around us were out of gas and diesel. Our rental car was running out of gas (less than a quarter tank) and my husband and I were stressed about where to fill the tank so we could get back to Dublin for our flight. We drove to 6 gas stations and they were all out. We called 10 more gas stations and they said they were empty too. All of the gas stations said they didn’t know when the tanks would be filled again due to the protest/strikes and it could be days or longer. We mentioned our predicament to Eileen and she helped sort us out. Without her help, the rental company (Enterprise) told us we would have to tow the car over 300km back to Dublin!
We couldn’t have asked for a better host and a better home. We highly recommend Eileen’s home and if we ever came back to Killarney, we’d stay here.

The house was incredibly clean and beautiful. The location was central to the town centre and getting around was very easy. The price was very reasonable, the free parking was also very helpful. The host was very helpful. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and we all could not stop talking about how fabulous this location was. The photos of the house are accurate to the physical location and the beds were very comfortable. There was a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer for longer stays.
