Copley Cottage

Everything was exactly as advertised.

Nothing

It was a homely little cottage close to Kynryn and Raby castle . Well equipped kitchen but no freezer so an ice maker might be helpful for Cooling drinks . The beds were comfortable and the linen was nice large bath towel and bath sheet provided . Nice touch from owners a bottle of fizz and a pack of local cookies left for us to enjoy

No freezer

The location was in a small village, the back overlooking the countyside. Goatie the neighbour greeted us with a polite bleet. The property had everything you could want and more. The shower is amazing.

The back step is steep, so be careful if you are going out to the very small and thin back yard.

This cottage was absolutely delightful! My partner and I travel alot and this is one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in, photos do not do this hidden gem justice. It’s like a little bit of heaven tucked away and when you walk though the doors you could be anywhere. It was so peaceful, just what we both needed. The decor suited the cottage beautiful, traditional with just the right amount of contemporary to make your stay comfortable and stress free. This cottage has it all! The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the kitchen is kitted out with everything you can need, the shower is perfect water pressure and temperature and super easy to use. The whole cottage was nipping clean, tidy and the lovely hosts even welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco and biscuits - very thoughtful ! Communication was brilliant and to top it all - there is the cutest goat who greeted us every morning at the rear of the cottage. This was the best surprise of all as my partner is a massive fan of goats !!!!
