These are new apartments, everything from mattreses, eir condition to bathrooms and appliances is brand new and in full working condition. The best feature for us was the swimming pool, which was actually quite large, cleaned daily, that was excellent for cooling down and recovery after day of sightseeing in hot egyptian sun. Other than that, the fridge was big, washing machine excellent (wife's seal of approval), rooms spacious with air-conditioning everywhere, and 2 bathrooms with not bad smell or other issues (family 3-bedroom apt). The location has two sides - we wanted west bank to be close to all main ancient sites open from 6am due to heat. That saved us 20min ride, and every minute of sleep counts at 6am. The location is rural, very quiet and hassle free, with no street sellers or beggars. There is small shop nearby, a pharmacy and a cheap gift shilop just a bit further On the other hand if you're after dining in restaurants, this adds 20min ride to the city. Our host was beyond helpful. He easily accommodated our late request for early check-in, organised sunset boat ride on the Nile. That was a big spacious felucca with a table in the middle and crew serving tea - not the small bout you usually get. Pro tip - take the boat ride, it's very relaxing and refreshing. We also got hot air baloon organised by him for all of the family at a VERY good price. Breakfast is available at an additional fee. We used that option once and no complaints at all. Fresh western baguettes (very tasty), omlet, feta, yoghurt, vegetables, jam, all in good quantities. Overall we are very happy with the stay and easily recommend it to everyone whose main objective it to see ancient sites and relax after busy day.
