Amenirdis Villa

Trotz des kurzen Aufenthaltes sind wir begeistert gewesen. Das Appartement ist groß, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Zudem war der Guide Amed sehr freundlich und hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Wir werden gerne noch einmal wieder kommen.

Amenirdis Villa is located in the quiet neighborhood of Al Biirat on the West Bank of Luxor. Currently (March 2026), the property consists of a small (two-bed) and a large (four-bed) apartment. Both living spaces are modestly furnished and offer the usual living comfort. The garden in front of the house is very nicely landscaped and certainly invites you to sit in it to enjoy the beautiful greenery. What definitely makes Amenirdis Villa worthwhile is its host, Ahmed Ali. As an official tour guide, Ahmed has a very broad knowledge of ancient Egypt. He is very willing to share this knowledge with anyone interested. It is therefore a good idea exploring the area with Ahmed, as we did. He took us to Medinet Habu, the Colossi of Memnon, the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the house from which archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter worked and, of course, the famous Valley of the Queens and Kings. Ahmed also showed us the temples at Esna and Dendera. He constantly adapts his role as a tour guide to his audience and, when requested, takes the time, making it a pleasure for even the most interested traveler to go with him. In our opinion, the combination of the Amenirdis Villa and host and tour guide Ahmed is rather special, making it well worth booking a stay with him.
