Amazing apartment with equally amazing view of Surabaya, great location. Very helpful and efficiënt staff.

Bed in main bedroom was quite hard, and thicker blankets would have been nice. Also when asked to add two people to the booking, they said it would cost us 150.000idr per person per night, although we checked and realized if we canceled the booking on time and rebooked again with the right amount of people, the difference in price with the original booking would only be 20.000idr. We just opted not to add the two other people in the end and they found other accomodation.

I like how the apartment room was at the higher ground with the balcony looking out the city of Surabaya. It was really beautiful at night (when it didn't rain). The apartment room was also private, meaning once you got off from the elevator, the apartment was next to the apartment. We didn't really share the lift with another neighbour. It felt like a penthouse to me. The apartment building is in close proximity with the local Indomaret, so I could get our quick groceries. Internet connection is fast too that we could watch Netflix shows. Having a kitchen with a microwave was a big plus, so we can reheat our take away food with no issue.

There were little things that could be improved (IMO). First, the sleeping blankets that were provided to us; they were considered thin blankets, and it's kinda cold when sleeping. Turning up the Aircon temperature; the bedroom temperature became warmer - so it was a dilemma. Second, the size of the blanket was small and only enough for 1 person. We were only being provided 3 instead of 4 (as per our booking). Luckily the host was quick in responding to our request for an extra blanket. Thirdly, about the hot water, the hot water could take time to re-heat; especially when 2 people taking a shower at the same time. Lastly, I had no issue with disposing garbage bags, but the Garbage Disposal Room in the building was always locked and I had to leave the garbage bags in front of the door. I was a bit concerned about pest like rats or cockroaches sniffing at the garbage bags.

We liked the spacious, brightly-lit space. The area was generally clean, and is a nice oasis in the middle of a very busy section of the city. The ground floor reception looks really grand, and security is good which provides safety. There is a very large living/dining area which is great for families. If you are driving, it would also be easy to park here.

The aircon in the living room was not working, and was not fixed during our entire stay. The towels provided were not clean, but the host was quick to arrangement for replacements. Most of the facilities in the complex were not functioning during our stay (e.g. gym, bar, pool), and from our observation the condo was mostly unoccupied.
