We had a wonderful stay! Comfortable beds and seating, well-stocked kitchen, loved being able to walk to beach and “town”. The place was even better than the pictures. An excellent way to start the new year.

Captiva Sunset has always been a favorite place for us to stay over the last 20 years. This particular property is definitely in need of some TLC since the horrible hurricanes that ravaged the area. The back steps were damaged and not useable due to missing/loose planks. The lanai had rotted wood and most of the pillows were mildew stained. All interior furniture was stained. Master toilet and half bath toilets ran continuously and were very low to the ground (for older people with hip issues). Shower curtains were mildewed. Decorative mirrors in master were covered with dust.I hate to leave a bad review. The towels and bedding were lovely and clean. Beach towels were great! Pool and beach access were so convenient!We will definitely be back to Captiva Sunset but would not choose this property again.
