Sunset Captiva is one of the island’s most popular neighborhoods, centrally located along more than six miles of pristine Gulf shoreline. Guests enjoy access to a large heated pool, two tennis courts, a community boat dock, and a recreation area with picnic tables and gas grills. The community also features a private boardwalk to the beach, a nature trail leading to Chapel By The Sea, and covered parking. From here, you are just a short walk to Captiva Village with its dining, shopping, and entertainment.
The Home
Sunset Captiva #16 has been newly remodeled with a modern kitchen, updated bathrooms, and new flooring throughout. The open, airy floor plan flows onto a wrap-around porch, surrounded by tropical landscaping that creates a peaceful, private setting. A ground-level beach room with a private outdoor shower (hot and cold water) makes returning from the Gulf simple and refreshing.

We had a great stay at 16 Urchin Ct. Sunset Captiva is a beautiful complex and this house was very comfortable (the house layout and beds were great). The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking pans and utensils. You will need to bring your own cooking items (oil, cooking spray, etc) as there are none in the house. There were a few dishwasher pods but not enough for a weeks stay. They have towels (shower and beach) but you’ll need your own laundry detergent and extra paper towels and toilet paper They had beach umbrellas, a wagon for hauling items to the beach, chairs, and sand toys. There is no outdoor shower as stated but there is a hose for using after the beach. It’s a stones throw from the pool and tennis courts and within walking distance to restaurants and extremely close to the beach. We would stay here again. Captiva is truly amazing!

This is a Gem of a neighborhood in Captiva, Fl. This house exceeded expectations. It was updated, clean and just perfect, especially with first floor bedroom. The house was just across from the community pool, tennis and pickle ball court and a short walk to the beach. The screened in porch was surrounded by tropical foliage and was cozy and inviting. The house was well stocked and beach supplies plentiful, along with a beach cart! it was nicely landscaped and the outdoor spaces were appreciated - under house, multiple balconies, and screened in porch. Kitchen was up to date.

The house was very nice and had all the amenities for a great vacation. It rained a lot and the roof leaked and there were bugs crawling on the curtains. There wasn’t anyone in American Realty office. They answered the phone, but didn’t remedy the problem.
