Henriette- Charming one bed with easy parking

Nice location. Close to sea front. On street parking was always available close to the property.

Lock box was a little difficult to open. Key fob is a bit too big.

We are not familiar with this way to gain entry.

The outside of the property could do with some TLC, lots of weeds and shabby which worried me when I drew up. The front door to the building sticks and is not very secure. The balcony is dangerous if you have a small child or a baby as needs fixing.

The location was excellent for our needs. The main room was sunny. The bathroom was excellent and spotless.

On arrival, our first task was to re-wash the mugs and cutlery, which had been put away dirty. (No two items of cutlery were of the same pattern.) The weather was hot in August, but the kitchen window was taped shut and the bedroom window sash was broken, so it had to be propped up to let air in. The 1930s wardrobe doors could not be closed, as neither catch worked. The bedside lights had cables that could not reach a socket to connect them. An extension cable was available for one, but needed to be stretched to reach. The broom supplied was in two pieces, previously held together by sticky tape. The cleaning fee, at £60, is far too high. Just think of it as raised rental fee. Not exactly Seaside Luxury as the owners proclaim it.
