Station house

Very comfortable, spotless, nice touches with milk and biscuits, very comfortable beds. 2 minutes from train station and buses.

The house is right here to the train station and the exterior is not particularly glamorous or inspiring but when you enter you are in a well appointed and well furnished little haven. All furnishings and appliances are new. This house is comfortable and stylish and the host has done an excellent job making sure that you have everything you need. It looks like a holiday home (too tidy to be a family dwelling) but the kitchen has every utensil etc that you could need plus oil, washing up liquid etc. I even found an upstairs cupboard with an iron, ironing board and high chair. There is a small outside area which has some garden furniture and a washing stand. There is a washing machine in the kitchen. Just by the train station which will take you to London, Canterbury or neighbouring towns and there is the Loop bus which will take you along the coast or to Westwood Cross where you can shop, see a movie or eat at a chain restaurant. The price is excellent. If you want to visit during the peak summer this costs the same as a small hotel room. Of course it is not on the beach with a view but the decor, comfort and access to public transport makes up for that. If you are worried about being disturbed by trains don't be. The track is far enough from the house that the trains are a distant rumble not an evasive nuisance.
