Whalecome - Witsand Beachfront House

Pieter is an excellent host, the place is super clean, and you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The view is great and you literally walk out of the house onto the sand at the sea. I can highly recommend it.

Everything! Lovely house pretty much right on the beach. The main bedroom is very spacious with a balcony looking directly at the sea. Very comfortable bed and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. A lovely touch was the homemade sourdough bread. Delicious! There is a tidal pool for safe swimming and our two year old Grandson loved digging in the sand. There is a great restaurant about a 10 minute walk along the beach or via the roads. The food is really good (very fair prices) and the staff very friendly. A little tricky to find (turn right at Duine Park) but Pieter was available to show us the way. We liked it so much that we stayed an extra night! We stopped off at the Wool Shed when we left. Worth a visit (very quirky).
