Koukaki Elegance - Athenian Retreat near Acropolis

We had a great week here. The apartment was bright, cozy, and very clean. We especially liked the neighborhood – it felt pleasant and authentic. The hosts were very responsive and always replied quickly whenever we had a question. We were initially concerned after reading reviews about electrical issues, but we didn't experience any problems during our stay (although we didn't use high-power appliances such as the washing machine). The only thing to keep in mind is that the nearest metro and tram stops are a bit of a walk away.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The only issue we noticed was an occasional sewage smell in the apartment. We have just a few suggestions that could make future guests' stays even more comfortable: updating the boiler instructions with current photos, providing some tea, leaving a few extra travel-size shampoo/body wash bottles for guests staying a week, and adding a few wall hooks in the entrance area for jackets and bags. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The property was modern and spacious and in a fantastic location, walking distance to central Athens and main acropolis area, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and nightlife, right next to fantastic breakfast bar minutca.More spacious than photography suggests

The lack of information on how to boost the hot water, luckily I am engineer so worked it out

In a good location, easy access to the flat, working kitchen, great shower / bathroom, working air conditioning, additional services as hair dryer and hair straightener

Limited kitchen equipment (only 2 pots, no proper cutting knife, nil spare bin liners, no kitchen towel)
