Near Acropolis, Koukaki Retreat

If I could give this property 11 out of 10 I would. It was perfect for our first visit to Athens. The location is fantastic, walk to the Acropolis & dozens of bars & restaurants. Down a small street so very quiet. Communication from the host was excellent. The apartment itself was perfect for us. Spacious, comfortable, with a tiny balcony - just 2 chairs - a great spot for coffee looking at the street. Very comfortable bed. Lots of useful things in the kitchen. If you want something “fancy” this apartment is not for you, this place is like being at home. We loved it and could have stayed there for a month easily.

This was a lovely stay in a clean and bright apartment. The neighborhood is quiet but lively and there are wonderful restaurants and shops just a minute or two away. It is walkable to everything or you could take the bus or train. There is a lovely little balcony and the host brought small snacks which made a big difference. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. There is a full kitchen which also had a washing machine. The shower is a little awkward as you do have to hold the shower head. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

The shower could use a small adjustment to hold the shower head so you don’t have to.

Spacious clean and cozy apartment, nice location - central yet not overrun with tourists, many nice restaurants, cafés, bakeries around. All the amenities are there and in great condition. The communication with the host was clear and polite.

The location was perfect for a stay in Athens! The apartment was clean and tidy and the owner was great. We were left some basic amenities we needed, the communication was brilliant and we were given a guide and recommendations for our stay. Brilliant overall stay and very comfortable.

There wasn't anything to not like, it was great!
