Georgian Cottage, Swanage

This was a wonderful place for us to stay right in the heart of Swanage. The children loved being in their downstairs den, and our bedroom was a beautiful light room with plenty of space for clothes etc. There was no parking with the property but we found an on-street space about 20 metres away and with all the facilities and transport links that Swanage has, we didn't have to use the car again until it was time to leave. We are already hoping to book again!

(The only thing to watch out for is the ceiling height in parts of the bathroom but once I bumped my head once, I didn't do it again. 😁)

Very quaint and quirky, great location, clean and comfy

Really like the location - quiet and easy to get to the town and beach.

The location . The open fire . The kitchen had adequate utensils. The double bed was comfortable .

The house was very cold and although an open fire the heaters didn’t do much. There was a cold draft from the basement bedroom. A hatch to basement would be a god idea as well as think curtain into kitchen. The stairs to basement are very steep and would not be good for older people. House in general was quirky in decor but old fashioned and possibly not to everyone’s taste.
