You’ll find our vacation rental in the heart of the Eifel region, in the center of Nettersheim—right on the Eifelsteig trail. In the summer of 2021, it was severely damaged by flooding from the Urft River, as were many other homes along the Urft, Erft, and in the Ahr Valley. Over the following two years, it was painstakingly rebuilt with great attention to detail.
Our vacation rental at Bäckesch 15 accommodates up to 4 people and features a fully furnished and equipped apartment, including a wood-burning stove, parking, and Wi-Fi. Vacation Rental “a Bäckesch 15”:
“a Bäckesch 15” was built in the 1870s as a simple farmhouse in the traditional rural style and has been family-owned ever since.
Since the house is located directly on the “Urft” stream that flows through the village, it was severely damaged by the floods in the summer of 2021—like many other houses along the Urft, Erft, and in the Ahr Valley. The following year, the house was painstakingly rebuilt with attention to detail and brought up to modern standards in terms of both energy efficiency and technology. Now, right in the heart of the village, you’ll find this beautiful vacation rental, which combines a modern style with rustic, antique charm.
“a Bäckesch 15” features a beautiful living room with a wood-burning stove, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Additionally, the sofa bed can accommodate up to two more guests. The vacation rental also features a large flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
Bed linens and towels are provided.
Parking, bicycle storage, firewood for the stove, and laundry drying facilities are available outside the apartment.
Final cleaning and utilities are included in the price.

On-site costs: For a reservation at the “a Bäckesch 15” vacation rental, we charge €95.00 per day (for 1 or 2 guests), plus €30.00 for each additional guest. The minimum stay is 2 nights. For the third person and beyond: Children up to 5 years of age stay for free. For children aged 6 to 11, we charge €15.00 per night. The final cleaning of the apartment is also included in the price. Please inquire about the current rates for your individual Eifelsteig booking arrangement. Upon confirmation of your booking request, a deposit of 25% of the total price is due within 5 days. Cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the start of your stay are free of charge. For cancellations made after this period, the deposit will be billed or retained. Rescheduling is only possible by individual arrangement.
Check-in is from 3:00 to 00:00, and check-out is from 00:00 to 10:00.
