We had a clean room with balcony. We're provided with refillable drinking water and coffee and tea. The receptionists were accommodating and were happy to assist. There are bars and restaurants around and the day and night markets are just 10 minutes walk away.

I stayed twice at different rooms with my partner, first time in a double bed room #5 with wood flooring that creaks but adds the charm, and second time in a triple bed room #7 with solid terracotta tiles. Rooms are well appointed with nice bedding. Bathroom has electric heater for warm shower (wouldn't go very hot) and a complete set of amenities. They offer 4 selections for breakfast items, simple but good. Hotel is secure and safe even though the doors are always open and receptionist are not always present. Or I guess I can say very safe, since the receptionist forgot to store my luggages (including a backpack with laptops) to a secure room. For 2 days, my luggages were left right below the staircases, and they were there waiting when I returned for my second stay. As previous reviewer mentioned, you will hear pub or club noises until well at night (1am?) so bear in mind if you are a light sleeper and sensitive to noises.
