Casa Anna a Pomonte - Goelba

Das Casa ist riuhig gelegen, im hintersten Dorfteil...Zum Meer sind es 15 Minuten Fussmarsch. Die Parterrewohnung ist schattig( bei Hitze angenehm) - hat aber keine Aussicht. ... eine Aussicht hat mir gefehlt. Das Haus ist geräumig, nett eingerichtet und sauber! Die Küche verfügt über alles, was man braucht. Vor dem Eingang gibt es eine schattige, überdachte Terasse,mit hübschen Pflanzen , neben dem Haus- sehr praktisch- einen Parkplatz.

Unerfreuliche , unangenehme stressige Kommunikation mit der Agentur Go ELBA! Würde ich nicht empfehlen! Bis zur Ankunft im Casa Pomonte war nicht klar, WO der Schlüssel ist, WIE die Schlüsselübergabe funktioniert! Dabei hatte ich VORHER telefoniert- unfreundliche Kommunikation von Anfang an ! Am anstrengenden Anreisetag bei 37 Grad wurde ich ständig gestresst durch Anrufe von Go Elba, um eine Kautionsblockierung meiner Kreditkarte zu erzwingen... Was soll das ? Bis heute habe ich keine Quittung über die Rückerstattung dieser Kaution, obwohl schreiftlich verlangt! Ausserdem war nicht kommuniziert, dass die Eigentümer direkt über mir wohnen werden. Die Eigentümer waren zwar nett& distanziert- aber ich fühlte mich kontrolliert... man hörte alles vom oberen Stockwerk, und auch Koch- Essensgerüche musste man hinnehmen...

Anna and Giuseppe are great hosts, the apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, they have garden and a compost place, so we could collect the left over from the veggies and place them in their compost bin. The location was also very good, Pomonte is a little village close to the sea and to the mountains, it is possible to go for hiking tours directly from the house.Pomonte is quite, because there are not so many tourists, at the same time very alive, with the local habitants.

Everything was perfect with the hosts and their friendliness, we had nice chats together, the apartment was so well taking care of, the location for us was ideal. What didn't go so well in the beginning was the communication with GoElba agency, somehow to deal with booking.com is always very easy, because through them, there is direct communication with the hosts, but having also the GoElba in between, made all more complicated, the Hosts didn't know who we are and at what time we would arrive, while I was writing the arrival time already days before our arrival, the informations got stuck wit GoElba and never communicated to them, meanwhile the same day of our travel, few hours before arrival, I got many messages from them, and I was not having the internet available on my mobile....so I couldn't read them...It would have been easy if they would have told the hosts what I was communicating days before and also give me the mobile number of hosts early enough, not few hours before...Long story with conclusion that the Hosts are great and booking.com too, but I cannot say the same about GoElba....

Il borgo e il mare vicino

The location on Pomonte is fantastic. Lovely little town with great little shops and restaurants and ice cream. Beautiful sunsets. It’s also right at the start/end of the GTE hike which is very convenient.

The apartment is built under the owners own house and is very dark. You also feel like you’re living in close quarters with them - you hear them moving furniture and cleaning and walking through the outdoor area all the time. Not private at all. Unfortunately there is also a bad mosquito problem outside and a drain that smells so we didn’t use the outside area at all. The barbecue is the owner’s and it wasn’t clear how/if we could use it.
