Anna and Giuseppe are great hosts, the apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, they have garden and a compost place, so we could collect the left over from the veggies and place them in their compost bin. The location was also very good, Pomonte is a little village close to the sea and to the mountains, it is possible to go for hiking tours directly from the house.Pomonte is quite, because there are not so many tourists, at the same time very alive, with the local habitants.
Everything was perfect with the hosts and their friendliness, we had nice chats together, the apartment was so well taking care of, the location for us was ideal. What didn't go so well in the beginning was the communication with GoElba agency, somehow to deal with booking.com is always very easy, because through them, there is direct communication with the hosts, but having also the GoElba in between, made all more complicated, the Hosts didn't know who we are and at what time we would arrive, while I was writing the arrival time already days before our arrival, the informations got stuck wit GoElba and never communicated to them, meanwhile the same day of our travel, few hours before arrival, I got many messages from them, and I was not having the internet available on my mobile....so I couldn't read them...It would have been easy if they would have told the hosts what I was communicating days before and also give me the mobile number of hosts early enough, not few hours before...Long story with conclusion that the Hosts are great and booking.com too, but I cannot say the same about GoElba....
