location was fantastic, room was comfortable and while we did not spend a huge amount of time was certainly met our requirements

The property was beautifully decorated and had everything you have at home, especially the kitchen facilities.
It was quite inaccessible to bring up my luggage without a trolley. Plus no car parking on site. My adjoining room had a family with a screaming child, from late afternoon and then again in the early morning. Sadly, a not very restful stay. And I get that it is an historic building but I could hear my neighbours walking on the floor….yes, old floorboards but noisy.
