One night in Rhyl

Shirley was there to welcome us and show us around. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and very handily placed for the centre of Rhyl and the nearby retail park. The flat was surprisingly spacious and represented very good value for money. The owners clearly take the comfort of their guests very seriously. Would definitely recommend.

Not so much didn't like, but we had to wait a while for a parking space to appear out front but that may have been because we checked in early. By early evening there was plenty of parking available.

Very clean and warm property, great facilities with everything you could possibly need being included and a very friendly host. No problem with parking outside and was an ideal base for exploring further afield during our stay.

Everything was great during our stay. All the information we needed was included within the property, along with contact details if we had any issues. I would have no problem recommending this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Far better than anticipated

Very Cozy. All facilities (most new) in exceptional condition. Very quiet. Hardly any traffic noise. Bedroom lovely dark and peaceful. Great bed. Kitchen fully functional with everything for a long stay. Just like a home from home.

Fabulous spacious apartment in Rhyl

Everything was perfect. Lovely spacious living room with 2 comfy sofas, fairly large tv and dining table. Fabulous bedroom lots of wardrobe and drawer space and comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Shower in the bathroom was over the bath much better than a pokey shower cubicle with perfect temperature and water pressure. Even a lovely little garden. Very peaceful area. Close to Marine lake, sea front and lots of shops and food outlets. Parking available right on the doorstep. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The size is good, location is good as across the road from shops and the sea.

Toilet leaked a little and bath wasn’t big, hot water didn’t get very hot and didn’t like getting the key off the owner, they were in on arrival it feels like a key box would be much better

Comfortable, clean and quiet!!

A very quaint but quirky one bedroom, ground floor apartment. Very clean with every thing needed for a self contained stay. Located on a very quiet street. A short walk to the town center and beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops in immediate area including an Aldi across the street. Shirley is super friendly and very welcoming!

As noted by others, the shower was an issue on our first day, but Shirley did say it was about to be replaced. And like others, also found the bed a bit lumpy. We found the unit a bit cool thru the night and in the mornings but were unable to control the temperature. Again, we mentioned it to Shirley.

I really couldn't have found a better place in Rhyl

The flat is roomy,and very well furnished. It was exceptionally clean everywhere and lacked for nothing.

My only gripe is that the shower doesn't work very well. Shirley has told me that it will be replaced. However, there is a functioning bath, and so it wasn't critical for me.

Excellent, cannot fault it.

Stayed for one night with my 4 year old Granddaughter. Such a lovely homely apartment, was surprised how spacious it was. Everything like new, absolutely spotlessly clean and so well equipped, even down to washing pods for the washing machine. There was everything we needed and more, Shirley had thought of everything. Very comfortable to relax in the evening and the bed was lovely and comfy. Would gladly recommend and visit again.

It was a short stay to see a show in Rhyl, and visit family. Shirley's apartment was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and Shirley and her family were very friendly helpful and accommodating. We will definitely book her place again.

Absolutely gem of a place

It was so clean and tidy everything in its place,I was chilled and very comfortable when first sat down. It doesn’t come much better than this and at a very good price. I just hope that the numerous times I intend to visit Rhyl this year that this Gem of a place will be available. Shirley is a very kind and caring person and I sincerely wish all the best for the future, Looking forward to staying at your property very soon.

This is more of an advice than a criticism.The shower lacks a bit of pressure. I’m a retired electrician.I would change the existing shower to a power shower directly off your combi boiler which is nicely situated behind the wall,you might not need a pump for the flow as the boiler is near by. You would probably save a lot of money in doing the above as for example these days circuit breaker for an electric shower is either 32A or 45A !!!!!!! Where as a power shower only requires a 3A fuse as gas heats the water and not electric. Gas is much cheaper than electric

Lovely apartment, great host.

The apartment was spacious and clean, exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, utensils, and appliances. Free parking is available outside the property. On the outskirts of Rhyl, it is close to a retail park, handy for a grocery shop.

Lovely stay at Shirleys

Booked Shirley’s as we had a planned visit to The Rhyl Pavillion to see Chris Connor(Elvis Show) Unfortunately the show was rescheduled to next year.As our stay at Shirley’s was non refundable we made the journey to Rhyl anyway.We weren’t disappointed.Shirley was at the door when we arrived.She gave us the key even though we were a couple of hours early.The apartment was marvellous So clean cosy and comfortable We’ve booked to stay again for when we attend our rescheduled Elvis Show! I’m sad to say though that Rhyl isn’t the place it used to be It’s a shame

Couldn’t fault Shirley’s apartment but might I suggest a little welcome pack for guests.These have been a nice touch on previous apartment visits.
