Madrid Space

The landlord was very nice, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. He was happy to bring us two separate pillows when we mentioned that there was only one large pillow for two people on the double bed. He was also always available via Booking messages, and our late check-in went very smoothly. Jesus met us at the apartment around 11 pm, which we really appreciated. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with cutlery, pans, saucepans, salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, and all the basic things you might need. There was also everything necessary in the bathroom, including a hairdryer. We also appreciated having an iron and a washing machine. The location was very convenient. It is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and from there it takes only around 10 minutes to get to the city centre, so getting around was quick and easy. The neighbourhood is also nice and convenient, with plenty of grocery stores, a pharmacy, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Overall, the apartment is definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private apartment with everything needed for a short stay, especially if you prefer a comfortable and practical place rather than paying extra for a fancy hotel in the city centre.

There are a few things worth mentioning. The bed was a little small for two of us, as we are used to sleeping in a much larger bed. The mattress was also quite firm for our preference, although this is, of course, a matter of personal taste. Initially, there was only one long pillow for two people, but after we asked, Jesus kindly brought us two smaller pillows, which we really appreciated. The main thing to be aware of, especially if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping, is that the apartment has rather poor sound insulation. The water and drainage system is quite loud, so you can clearly hear water running when neighbours are taking showers, especially early in the morning. There is also a garage behind one of the walls, so you can hear the garage door opening and cars coming in and out. This is unfortunately something that is not really within the landlord's control, but I think it is worth mentioning for future guests. If you are a light sleeper or particularly sensitive to noise, it might be a good idea to bring earplugs or anything else that helps you sleep comfortably.

I loved the cleanliness, comfort and the feeling of home, as well as the good connection with the city center. Jesús was very pleasant and welcoming, so everything went smoothly. Also, a big plus is the washing mashing, hair dryer, and iron; we found it useful for the hot days in Madrid.

A little bit of noise from the neighbours outside in the early mornings, other than that, all went well.

Good location ( a bit far from the center but a good transportation) trains, buses are very close to apartment

The sound of water draining behind the walls is a bit loud( it wasn’t a problem for us) just for information

I like that part of kitchen. We could cook if we wanted.
